Individual User Guide
Use your account to practice yourself, help your children, or teach individual students. The account owner manages students and reviews their work. Students have their own learning access.
1. Create your account and find your dashboard
- On the home page, choose Individual Login, then Create an account.
- Enter your name, email, and password. Check your email and click the verification link to finish creating the account.
- For later visits, choose Account Owner Login and use your email and password. You can also use the available Google sign-in option.
After signing in, you land on My Prayers, where you can practice and submit your own assessments. Use Individual Dashboard beside My Assessments to manage students, assignments, and grades. Use My Prayers to return to your personal learning page.
2. Add and edit your students
From the Individual Dashboard, open Users → Add Student.
- Enter the student's name.
- Enter a student email or username. Only one is required. Usernames use 2–80 letters, numbers, dots, underscores, or hyphens and must be unique within your account.
- Choose the login credential: Student ID or Password.
- For Student ID login, create an ID the student can use. For Password login, enter a password of at least 10 characters and a student email for password recovery. Typing a password automatically selects Password login.
- Add optional parent emails if needed, then click Create student.
Students without email addresses will have to log in using a username and a unique ID created by the main user.
Give the student their username and ID or password, along with your main account email. To change details later, choose Edit student in Users. Leave the new password field blank to keep an existing password. Changing the ID used for login replaces the old ID credential.
3. Understand the two logins
| Who | Login option | What they enter |
|---|---|---|
| Adult account owner | Account Owner Login | Their email and password, or available Google sign-in |
| Child or student | Student Login | Main account owner's email, their own email or username, and their own student ID or password |
Students choose Individual Login → Student Login on the home page. The main account owner's email locates the correct account because another account may use the same student username. Students do not enter the adult's password.
Students see their prayers, recordings, and assessments. They cannot manage other students, change grades, or open the adult dashboard.
For password recovery, use Forgot password?. Students with password login receive recovery links at their registered student email. Students using an ID should ask the account owner for their ID.
4. Assign a prayer
- Open Individual Dashboard → Assignments.
- Select one of your students and the prayer, enter instructions as needed, and create the assignment. Individual accounts assign directly to students; they do not need classes.
- Use the assignment's email action to preview recipients and send when ready. Each student receives a personalized link to the assigned prayer.
An assignment email link opens the student's prayer without a separate login. A student without an email can sign in manually and find the prayer under Assigned Prayers. Assignment emailing currently requires a valid student email; adding a username does not create an email address.
5. Practice and submit an assessment
Open a prayer in My Prayers. When practice is available, watch its video and follow the Hebrew text. Words with model audio can be clicked to hear them. Available practice games include Flashcard Review, Flying Words, and Bouncing Ball. Games are practice activities and do not add assessment grades to the gradebook.
Open the Assessment section, allow microphone access, record the prayer, and submit it. Prayers without a practice video go directly to assessment. The AI reviews the recording automatically. In My Assessments, students can open their result, hear their recording, and review the highlighted text. A retake is available when the account owner has left retakes on.
6. Listen, correct, and save grades
- Open Individual Dashboard → Assessments and choose Review.
- Listen to the full recording above the highlighted prayer. Use word audio and Play with context where clips are available.
- Click a word to change its correct/incorrect judgment. Use the syllable review controls if you need to mark parts of a word separately.
- Add feedback and click Save review to publish your review to the student.
Green: correct Red: incorrect Yellow: review / syllable detail
A yellow word can indicate a judgment awaiting review. Inside an incorrect word, yellow syllables can show the parts marked correct while red marks the mistaken parts. Listen before deciding.
The score is correct words ÷ total prayer words × 100. Uncertain words may leave the final score pending. Students receive AI results when available, then see your saved corrections; they cannot change the colors or grade.
- Graded: AI grading is available; an account review has not been saved.
- Needs review: some words or the recording need human review.
- Reviewed: a human review has been saved.
You can request a professional review from Assessments. KriahAI site-admin corrections are published only after the professional reviewer finalizes them. Your own manual review remains available. AI, Account Reviewer, and KriahAI Site Admin grading records are kept separately.
7. Track progress in the Gradebook
Open Gradebook to filter by student, prayer, date, and grade status. Click a column heading to sort. Grades update after submissions and saved reviews. Choose Download full gradebook CSV for everything or Download current view CSV for your filtered and sorted view.
Common questions
I do not see a student I added.
Confirm you signed in with the account owner's email that was used to create that student. Each individual account has its own student list.
The student cannot sign in.
Check the main account owner's email, the student's username or email, and the credential selected in Users. A password account uses its password, not its student ID. Confirm the student is active.
A word clip is missing or the AI made a mistake.
Use the full recording when a clip is unavailable. Review the audio, correct the word judgments, and save your review. AI grading and automatic word timing can make mistakes.
I cannot record audio.
Allow microphone access in your browser and check the device's microphone. Close other apps using the microphone if necessary.
I cannot find a new button or update.
Refresh the page. If it still does not appear, sign out and sign back in.
